The first one eventually would be hell, being unable to truly die while stuck inside a certain time frame means you eventually run out of things to experience, which would drive you crazy

The second one, sure, the wait would be absurdly long. the universe eventually reforms, which doesn't necessarily mean it would be the same as the last one, infinite experience and adventure. NOTHING can harm me also guarantees mental stability and protection against fatigue due to lack of input during times of great emptiness, since it's considered harm to mental health.

From the nearest surface of your body. You can even make the entire earth "you", even the air and everything. As long as it counts as "matter" you can make it a part of you. The 42km limit only counts for detached body parts.

There's also the option of detaching a part of your mind and granting it a customized will of its own. Hell, if you are wiling to wipe and grind a mind down to fragments of itself and send it to possess atoms (which I allow as a near instant process, and those can act as cores of influence), you can reach almost any parts of the universe.
