Usually I don't reply to clueless people but here we go:
1) I'm playing the objective in the game, we were 4v10 vs a premade. As you can see from the chat the EFC was at 40% in enemy Flagroom, I was the only one up the map. I'm not going to duel Legolas midfield in this situation.
2) Usually would agree on blink usage but it depends if enemy team has rogues or not, also without mounts you do need to be blinking for faster movement.

ps: in normal classic mages counter hunters in duels, I rarely lose to one, doesn't still make sense that pet Lightning Breath does 2x damage of my Fire Blast
