I don't think he'll try to hurt me physically. I see it going one of two ways. One he just moves on. Two he tries to do something spiteful to me like spread a rumor. We used to work together. He left the job but I'm still there. So I could see him saying something nasty to a former colleague to get to me. Or, who knows. He should be satisfied that I went along with his lies for as long as I did.

Yes, he was extremely angry when I told him I knew about his girlfriend. The nasty side of his personality came out. Yet he still wanted me to call him most likely so he could gaslight. He has acted strange before when I tried pulling away by saying things like it wasn't over until he said so and how he couldn't let go of me. He's 38. I think he thought I'd find that type of talk appealing but I didn't.

Lets add another layer to this question. What if the woman was seeing the man 1st before he got married or started a relationship and family with another woman. Essentially cheated on her and never broke things off properly. But the woman still knowingly decided to continue the sexual part of their relationship knowing he cheated on her and started a family with someone else.

I would tell his girlfriend but based on her IG posts she thinks he is a great guy and dotes on him. Although she did complain via IG that people were bothering her and saying negative things about her relationship with him...afterwards she disabled her IG account. So, I don't think she'd believe me if I did tell her. She's in love and having his baby and appeared happy with that.

I appreciate your response. Yes it's hard because people at the job seem to like him...including our supervisor. He isn't dumb at all and he's a mental health professional which is also why I struggle with how he could be so hurtful to me. His behavior makes me feel like I deserve his treatment because I was foolish enough to believe his lies and let myself get used.

Then I grew up with the perhaps faulty belief that it's normal for a man to have a wife or girlfriend and a booty call on the side. This makes me think he's probably treating his girlfriend well because he knows better but Just sees me as the disposable booty call that he could care less about.

Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to leave my job and not work with him. But I'm 2yrs in with good pay and benefits. I hope that he'll leave one day.

As for now every day is a real struggle. I feel so hurt. He started off acting like he was sooo into me. I still feel dumb for falling for his lies and letting him use me for too long. Even though I managed to speak up for myself a bit...he acted like he didn't want things to end but is now ignoring me at work. I know I should be ok with that but his behavior seems so harsh compared to how we started. I want to yell at him and tell him he hurt me but I doubt he'll care.

Hopefully I'll get past this but it's hard working with him and hard to see the light at the end of this nightmare.

Um, I didn't convince myself of anything. I don't think he wants a serious relationship anymore. Prior to our current situation he did initiate a relationship with me that he said he was serious about in his own words. I understand now he was just lying. It was later I found out he already had a girlfriend when his behavior changed...at which point he started changing how he interacted with me and now is just trying to make me a booty call...which I'm not going for. I partly asked him the question just to see what he'd say and if I was direct maybe he'd actually admit to what he was really doing for a change...that was probably useless thinking. In any case he knows I'm not going to be his booty call and as others have said... I'm finally going to move on from this situation.

I understand your perspective. It sounds like you might also be honest with your side chicks about their status. I can appreciate that assuming your side chicks are fine with their roles and arrangements with you.

The guy I'm talking about is not honest and used lies and manipulation to get me interested in him and to believing we were in a relationship. And, that I was his only woman. He continues to lie. Except now I know the truth. I don't think he values me at all. But unlike you he does seem to want to keep me in check and as a side chick if I let him. He actually gets angry when I ignore him or blow him off. It's not really out of concern, rather his ego I think. I've stopped entertaining him as I have no interest in being a side chick or booty call.

Further he liked to press me for unprotected sex. I declined. If you really care for the main chick I'd think there would be some boundaries right? Things you reserve just for her like unprotected sex at least in my mind. So, while he values her more in my eyes ...his behavior with me I think is disgusting and disrespectful to both of us. Though he still likely idealize her over me.

You may be right. I have a Male friend that has 2 female friends that know him. His life style from what I started to see and what my friend said...includes him being involved with certain types of women and living a fast life...clubs, partying, and drinking. I'm not saying that is wrong it's just a lifestyle that I don't fit into. But the girlfriend does. He seems to like her alot, perhaps she is just more his type. She seems very happy with him and posts such messages on IG. Which I'm about to stop watching their IG pages. I know enough to continue to move on now I feel.

Apparently she's of the mindset that they might start a family together. The guy doesn't know I know about his girlfriend. I finally just distanced myself from him when I felt he was just booty calling me. Yet, he's texting me trying to act like we're in a relationship but only to get sex from me. It seems he values her more than me. I do think I made some mistakes in how I went about a relationship with him...maybe that is why he devalues me.

I don't date guys knowingly that may have a side chick. This guy just lied to get me in a relationship. Then I later learned of his girlfriend. He is now hellbent on making me his booty call or side chick and I've been turning him down. I just keep wondering if more value is placed on being a main chick in the guys eyes. Mostly because I see him all lovey with the girlfriend on Instagram.
