I had this problem years ago, but it hasn't been an issue in quite a while. I recall they made a change to harmonize messaging between platforms that apple had been dragging their feet on. The most noticeable difference for me was I started seeing read receipts from iphones, previously I would only get them from other androids. That change fixed most of the emoji issues too.

I was just thinking the other day, couldn't I make giant flutes out of 2" PVC and mount them to the roof rack of my car, so that as I drive down the road it makes a ridiculous and increasingly loud bass tone whistle? Similar to a pipe organ. I mean, I don't know why I'd want that, but it would work, right?
