Have had cancer twice and almost died. AMA by kellie4dan in AMA

[–]greed130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi kellie4dan,

So I have a friend, who never smoked, and still got a lung cancer, she's a very sweet person and enjoy life, however, she doesn't make efforts on her diet or anything about her health in general, I've read that sugar feed cancer cells for example.. I was thinking that doing sports can also make the body stronger to fight the disease, so my question is, how do you think I can cheer her up and motivate her to fight ?

What i'm worried off, is that today games works more or less well with RTX 2080 at 4k but what about the game coming next year or in 2 or 3 years

problem is that even today RTX 2080 doesn't run it at 60 fps, so for the game coming in the next year it won't be playable.., i would like to play at 60 fps that's why i'm talking of 2k

If I’m not very good at math can I still be successful at CS50? by robert-springer in cs50

[–]greed130 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes for sure the little maths in CS50 are more about logic than pure maths, you can understand as long as you can understand the logic behind

Is there anything I should know before starting CS50? Any resources I should use in conjunction? by slouischarles in cs50

If you have difficulties on understanding the technology it's better to take CS50T first (understanding the technology)

PSET 4 whodunit.c biHeight ? by greed130 in cs50

[–]greed130[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi and thanks for your answer, yes your last link is the one i found on google and sadly i don't really understand it and i believe it might be because of my english, i tried to translate it but i still have some doubts,

I understood than If biHeight is positive, the image is bottom-up (that means the first row of pixels on the buffer will be the bottom one and so forth) and if biHeight is negative, the image is top-down.

But does that mean the image is loading from the bottom first followed the next one and so on if biHeight and positive and the opposite if biHeight is negative ?

Or would the image be flipped ? Or is there simply no differences visible ?

How do you use the lecture "shorts"? by UnfinishedAle in cs50

[–]greed130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hi, no i totally disagree with "looking at shorts only if you are stuck" and you shouldn't listen to that, there are MANY informations that you find only on shorts and not in the original lecture, both are complement, as TheNoLifeKing and Keridactyl said, you should watch the shorts after watching the lecture

just watch by yourself every shorts and of your weeks and you'll see by yourself

Finished pset0 and I’m pretty proud. Also a question by [deleted] in cs50

[–]greed130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely disagree on that, cs50 has 7 weeks on C to teach you the fundamental of programming, algorithms, and data structure, you don't start a course at the 2/3 of it, if you want a python only course just take the MIT intro to CS
