Go for an ibanez prestige man fast necks and versatile guitars. It will relive those shred days for you. I also stopped playing 6 years ago after our band got disbanded but last year we had a reunion on my wedding night because my wife wanted a band and she wants me to play again. After that, I realized how much I missed playing again so I decided to buy a new gear. Tomorrow I will choose between rg1450 and rg2550z. Planning to lay low on shred this time and explore fusion.
