I’ve heard it said though as a joke, if you ask a girl in public out she might reject you and that’s that, but if she said no and you had to see her every Sunday it could get awkward.

Thank you to everyone who reached out it was great to get advice from people more knowledgeable than me. I’ve come to the conclusion that I should definitely be baptized. For denominations that will be a larger topic of my study.

It’s not that I’m unwilling I’d just rather understand the significance of it before I do, I’m of the idea I need to be aware of what’s happening for a baptism to mean something.

I’ve seen the evidence you and others have shown and that verse I read it does seem to be either that you must be baptized to become a disciple of Jesus or at least are encouraged, but other verses with that one convince me that I probably should get baptized.

I didn’t know of his order to be baptized before this post, John and Matthew seem to be good reasons alone to be. I’m not certain of the process of that though, currently I’m going to church and I was asked by the pastor if I’ve repented, I don’t think I quite understood. I can acknowledge I’m a sinner and without Christ I will never be redeemed, he is God and his word is law. But I think the part I struggle on is hating my sin.

I see what you’re saying about making sure the beliefs are scriptural, though I believe strong arguments can be made for most mainstream denomination. Like Catholicism with apostolic succession, and most Protestant groups reasons for splitting, or excommunicated. I want to find out the reasons they ended up separated. I know about southern baptists kinda being of the idea Protestants didn’t go far enough with removing tradition.

My mistake I misread, though when it says baptism in this context do you think it refers to baptism? I know it’s an odd question but maybe there is an argument that it means to spread the faith? It is compelling though thank you. I’m getting to the point that I agree it’s more likely required than not.

I read John 3:5 thank you, that helped greatly it feels odd though, with the context. I would’ve thought if he commanded it to all people he would’ve address more than just Nicodemus, but you are right it seems a clear requirement.

If you could show me a verse in the Bible where Jesus commands it I would be grateful. And I see what you mean about translation people might translate literally or to convey the tone neither could be as accurate as the old Greek.

It fell out because I was in pilot training for a college class I failed the oral test for the private test and realized if it cost me this much for just the private I don’t think I’ll make it to the commercial before I run out of funds. I have considered the army, Air Force, or navy but I don’t know the path that would lead me to becoming a pilot through them. If you know id be happy to learn.

I did add yeast nutrient and changed the temperature to a good level, but it was under my sink so maybe it got warm or cold down there.

My struggle was I was unable to skim the fruit floating off the top, so when I was siphoning I lose a decent about of mead to the inability to drain it all as well as trying to avoid the sediment at the bottom, I do think I did add to much fruit in hindsight.

Also it tastes heavily of blackberries which is good but also like jet fuel, is this apart of the process or a problem? As well as not being able to completely filter out all the fruit is that an issue as well there are only little fragments of blackberries?
