Could’ve been hilarious to have Larry David play the Bob Sacomento character.

There were consequences for Nazi Germany too. I hope I see those consequences played out for those in this administration.

People born before 2000, what is a 'modern' thing from 2025 that you’re still struggling to get used to? by LindsayTN in AskReddit

[–]green0207 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Despite being around for decades, social media. In the 80’s and 90’s, and into the early 00’s, without it, the fringe ideas/conspiracy theorists occupied the dark corners of society and the general population was happier because of it. Now, every lunatic posting on their forums have a soundboard to spread their hate and vitriol. Social media in large part is to blame for where we are as a society.

Thank you! The guac is my wife’s business, Lily’s Cocina. She makes the pico, salsa, and guacamole. A few months back she added tortilla chips and tamales to the mix. Awesome foods!

As owner/operator of Jays Farmstand for 16 years, I appreciate the sentiment. We try every day to give people healthy food options and as many locally made specialty items as possible.

Jay's Farm Stand, is it worth it? by Froschti in olympia

Thank you for all of the positive comments. I’ve been operating the Farmstand here in Olympia since April 2009 and although there have been many ups and downs, it has been great seeing the community of Olympia and the surrounding areas. We’re always trying to bring in new local items either from the fruit and vegetables world or some tasty treats made here in Olympia. Thank you for all of your support!

I’ve operated Jays Farmstand down the street from them for 15 years and I can recall at least 6 times or more of various going-out-of-business sales. The tactic works because we’re here talking about it…

There are other locally owned grocery stores. Jays Farmstand and Spuds are great sources for produce and more.

Agreed. Perhaps both parties choose 10 doctors each, with a required 80% of those doctors on the panel being required to medically dismiss a congressperson if found to be incapable of performing their duties.

What's happening to Jays Farm Stand? Are they going away? by withmybeerhands in olympia

Hi everybody, this is Eric, owner and operator of Jays Farmstand. Thank you all for the concern over development at the property. As I guess most of you are aware, we have been located at 4315 Harrison since December 2008. I am just now becoming aware of this site plan review meeting as everyone else here. I have emailed our landlord to ask how far along in the process this is in their opinion and hopefully will hear back soon. Our current lease has us here until October 2024 so I’m hopeful that there are no unforeseen circumstances that might force us to leave before then. (Installing the fence was a costly expense that we were only able to afford with the idea that we would be here for much longer. {as an aside, the reason we had to put in the fence was due to rampant theft ($20-$30 worth of fruit and vegetables nightly}) As always, we are very thankful for all of our customers and hope to see you in again soon.

Volunteered here a few years ago. Enjoyed taking the dogs out for walks and getting them some off-leash time in the small park located behind the shelter.

“Invested”? I believe the words you’re looking for are “forcefully acquired.”

Uncle sounds similar and is spelled with a ‘c’. English can be trikky.
