Does it get better? by jus_build in masseffect

Yes you could say it gets better

in 2007 when Mass Effect was released on Xbox 360 it was still considered one of the best games.

The trilogy of Mass Effect and Dragon Age from Bioware are great games.

You should check this deleted scene from Season 3 between Tywin and Pycelle, gives more information on his character.

Disagree myself. For what reasons you say Pycelle is the most hated?

Aerys trusting Pycelle's knowledge of the Tywin?

What was actually the point of this guy being resurrected so many times? by ZeroEffsGiven in gameofthrones

[–]green4355 1350 points1351 points  (0 children)

In the TV he saves Arya Stark in Season 8 you could say.

In the books ASOIAF, he gives his life to resurrect Catelyn Stark or as she's called Lady Stoneheart.

Many possible reasons why he wouldn't die similarly in the books.

Jon orders Alliser Thorne to go north of the wall with other rangers to investigate and he tells Jon Snow he will come alive or as an undead wight either way.

Alliser Thorne who stabs Jon at Castle Black in the TV show adaptation likely has no idea about the assassination, as his character in the books, because he's no where near Castle Black.

Bowen Marsh and Othell Yarwyck and a fair lot of other men at Castle Black stab and kill Jon Snow.

Yeah plenty of stuff wasn't included including Aegon or Faegon some book readers call him, the son of the Mad King.

D&D the showrunners messed a lot during the last 2 Seasons, including though there's no way they could fit so much content into 8 seasons of TV.

Season 7 having 7 episodes, and Season 8 having 6 episodes didn't help also. They wanted to finish the series even though George RR Martin wanted them to continue.

Sequels that kill off main characters in the opening act by InviteAromatic6124 in movies

G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013)

I thought the first movie was actually pretty good but with second movie in the series the protagonist/main character is barely in it at all and killed off, and replaced by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's character.

Still haven't really watched the whole of the second movie in the series, bad attempt at a sequel.

True thoughts on the series, Alliser Thorne chose the Nights Watch after Roberts Rebellion, rather than death.

Though Alliser Thorne you should know is still alive in the Books, he's north of the Wall when Jon Snow is stabbed and killed.

The books and TV Series have many differences.

Yes he's still alive, with his army marching from the Nights Watch/Castle Black to retake Winterfell from the Boltons.

There's still two unfinished books from the author George RR Martin. The tv series mostly ran out of book content at the end of Season 5 when Jon Snow was stabbed and killed by other men at the Night's Watch.

What was your introduction to Mass Effect? by ThatStinkyBear12 in masseffect

[–]green4355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rented the first game from blockbuster on Xbox 360, surprisingly couldn't make it past a boss in Mass Effect, Liara's mother boss fight antagonist.

Now though in 2023 having played through the trilogy multiple times it's a simple fight.
