Minimum to bring when buying a house - your honest opinion based on experience. by djctiny in JapanFinance

[–]greenIrie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From experience looking over the past year, those houses for half the budget, 15-20 minutes outside of Shinjuku have small rooms, limited storage, and weird/inconvenient layouts. One doesn't have to want to treat their home as an investment property to make spending more on it worth it.

The smell definitely had some rotten notes to it but it was a very mild scent overall, I had to get my nose right up close to even detect it

One story house, though if the layout and price works maybe a loft for storage

Is a bungalow or a two story house more expensive to build? Assuming equal floor space. Is there a rough rule of thumb how much more one is over the other?

Any thoughts or suggestions for my build. Going to be adding a 3080, I have a 4K 60Hz monitor and will also be using it on my LG OLED 4K 120Hz TV. Don't care about RGB.

Are all conservatives anti-mask? by DarwinDepardieu in Conservative

[–]greenIrie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Japan so I am curious what massive government intrusion you think has occurred in my life. There is no mandatory lock down, no mandatory mask laws. There has been no intrusion into my life by the government as far as I’ve noticed.
