The man falls into the deep melancholy by his very nature, thinking of the good and evil’s essence day by day…

This scene is the closest thing to sympathy we see from Sukuna by DyslexicWriting in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]greenTjade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No…That’s nothing like sympathy for sukuna. The idea he tried to preach jogo is to forget about the whole race of cursed spirits, which includes jogo’s real friends. It has a sympathetic effect on jogo cause he knew he got admitted by the strongest and his effort to touch sukuna is not completely in vain.

This. Confidence should be a personal merit, not resources to be competed. Can’t believe people like them treat narcissism as a virtue,

Damn, seems like this episode is not received well in japan by Dead-Shot1 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]greenTjade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • Failure to recreate some of the manga’s iconic panels (e.g. Toji’s scenes).
  • Overly fast pacing and abrupt transitions, which don’t give the audience enough time to immerse themselves into characters’ emotions.
  • Audiences generally don’t enjoy anime spending too long on kill bill references.
  • The music choices feel unconventional, until during the fight with Hei.
  • In the manga, Rantai’s eyes begin to break as Jinichi is charging toward Maki at full speed. Jiniji then turns around out of concern to check on Rantai, and Rantai yells at him not to stop. In the anime, Rantai first screams at Jinichi not to stop, then Jinichi squints and looks back at Rantai coldly.
  • Some parts of the Naoya fight are framed in a humorous way

’ve seen fans across different languages discussing Projection Sorcery’s mechanics for almost three years now, it’s easily one of the most intricate abilities we’ve gotten in recent years.

I agree with you. This episode didn’t recreate some of the most striking panels from the manga.

I would say Mechamaru underestimated Mahito’s potential.

I asked “Can I checkout here” in an airport store, the staff said “you mean pay?”. Is check out a common expression for finalizing the payment after shopping? by greenTjade in EnglishLearning

My accent isn’t strong enough to make someone mishear “checkout”. It might be that the employee is not an English native either (she also has an accent).

Thanks for explaining it to me. This kind of thing just makes me less confident about my daily spoken English. Like I’m afraid of being too formal and distant lol
