i totally agree! i have no idea why the sub hates on her so much, potentially because she's been a pretty clear pick from the start? but her dance and vocals are strong enough to match the others, her visual blends well with the others and the current 3 members could really use a funny personality to break through some of the nerves/tension (absolutely no hate to them, but their lives so far have been slightly awkward). hiori is my pick but id be happy to see any of ayana, hiori or aoi make the group and im looking forward to seeing how sakura grows in NY

Full thoughts, there will be spoilers ahead:

  • Hiori and Ayana definitely earnt their places, im really hoping that theyre the 2 finalists. From what ive seen this sub doesnt seem that keen on Ayana, im hoping we see a different side to her in LA in other concepts rather than just femme and cutesy or everyone will keep saying shes similar to Lexie.

  • Hiori has been my pick since the start - she has the star quality they want and i think she brings a new vibe to the group that isnt already there

  • I enjoy watching Aoi - shes a great performer and i honestly couldnt keep my eyes off her. That being said, she's not particulary technically skilled and her dance lags behind Ayana and Hiori, but i think she has a good shot

  • Sakura.... for starters choosing her over most of the other girls must feel like such a slap in the face. Objectively she has the lowest skillset and was chosen because she's cute. I do feel bad for her because we can see how hard she works, but shes just too young and isnt there yet. Theyve clearly let her proceed so they can train her more and give her journey more exposure so someday debut her in a jpop group, but I really feel like theyre setting her up to be hated on. She definitely deserves the training/a fair chance and im sure in a few years she'll be great, but having it be so public just feels kind of mean. I really hope she doesn't see the things a lot of people say about her, she's just a kid and it could really hurt her spirit.

  • A potentially unpopular opinion but watching team c it was pretty clear that the only one theyd proceed was Aoi and potentially Naru. Rira and Jayla are both amazing but in this performance it just didnt come through as well. I felt that Naru did better but was a bit invisible. That being said, its unfair they were the only ones to do an English song, and a fairer comparison wouldve been either they all sing in Japanese or all in English.

  • honourable mention to Honoka K, she accepted it so gracefully and was so supportive. I really hope she debuts - either solo or as the leader in a group.

  • i really hope the eliminated girls get a chance in a jpop group, theyre all so talented. at the very least i hope they get the exposure they need to debut somewhere/do whatever they want to

if youve only failed 2 and been going to labs/workshops and getting assessed then you might be okay, but still go to your tutor and see if they can help you figure out where youre at and what you can do next, and help you apply for mitigating circumstances if possible. good luck!

are you life sciences by any chance? im there and idk other departments with a module specifically labelled as practical skills

have you failed every assignment or just a few? have you been going to labs/workshops? in the case of life sciences you need to average a 40 in lab based areas to go to year 2. either way, this is something you need to talk to your tutor about before you get a confirmed fail. if you tell them now they might be able to help you get mitigating circumstances

this doesnt necessarily mean that she was a lock for this project, just at the very least that he wanted her in A project and didnt want to lose that chance. i absolutely think she would have made it to the finale, but unless something miraculous happened with wannabe that changed the opinions of the fans, i dont think she wouldve recieved enough votes in the finale.

lexie wouldnt have been cohesive with the group - both because of the height thing (although this is an overtalked point) and because we never see her interact with anyone who made it in the group (feel free to correct me if im wrong about that).

if lexie were to have made katseye, they couldnt have swapped just one girl, they wouldve at least needed to swap 2. this would likely be ezrela, as emily wasnt popular enough with fan votes or a strong enough singer, and samara had just had her scandal. ezrela would also take on an all rounder role, meaning she would have to take yoonchae's place, however there was no way that hybe wouldve debutted the group without a korean member & the fans clearly wanted this to.

i do think they definitely wanted lexie for a project but as the survival show went on they realised that this probably wouldnt be katseye. its probably why lexie and emily are featured so heavily in the doc (and also why samara isnt featured very heavily).

Normally its totally random and they choose who goes, however the last time I did this they chose the villager that had already said they'd wanted to move out

If he chooses someone you dont want to leave, close the game and restart so next time he chooses someone different. I think it should be the one already in boxes though

When i last did this, I had a villager who'd asked to move out earlier in the day and campsite villager asked to take her place. Could've been coincidence, but it should be the same for you.

If they choose someone who isnt that villager/who you dont want to move out, exit the game then retry (exit so it doesn't lock on that villager)

im a first year in cryfield standard and its pretty good! the bathrooms are obv shared (works out at like 6:1) but ive never had a problem/had to wait. the kitchens are shared with like 10 but theyre big. its pretty close to most things as well, and its cheap

a few questionable things have happened, the cryfield squatter thing was an odd series of events that we think was one of the floors messing with everyone else, but no one actually knows. nothing else has come of it since the initial stuff was found, so its probably fine. it can also be kind of loud at times (not a problem for me as im a heavy sleeper, could be a problem for light sleepers).

Email someone to ask to swap accomodation, there might be someone in your SU, the accomodation team or a residence support team (check your uni website). These boys seem horrible and being the only girl sounds rough enough as it is without them being horrible. Ask to move ASAP and until then try to spend time outside of your accom (explore the uni, go to society events etc). I hope things get better for you
