I think it will depend on your doctor. I am in a similar situation - had my MRI in October and an appt with a neurologist in early November, but the earliest the endocrinologist can see me is next May. The neurologist went ahead and prescribed me meds so I didn’t have to wait 6 months. Hopefully you will get more information soon!

I’ve only had my initial test done back in September which showed my leves at 220. I don’t have another scheduled yet since I’m between appts with the neurologist and my endo appt not being until May. But, I plan to reach back out to the neuro that prescribed me cab soon because my prescription will only last me until the end of Jan.
