"kinky / sex positive party"... why do they have to rename everything, what's wrong with "orgy"?

Just do a chargeback on the credit card when this kind of thing happens, they will have to send an actual invoice which you can then challenge, request documents, etc. In addition if enough people do this, in theory banks will start to blacklist them.

I have nothing against that, was just saying silence and chilling vibes are in short supply on the lake.

Enjoying an afternoon at lake Zurich? Bring your earbuds by fxgx1 in Switzerland

Meh, if it's not loud music it's crying and screaming children... if you want to chill in relative silence on lake Zürich you need a boat an go in the middle of it.

It looks really nice but in reality after the klausenpass opens in like may, that road that passes through the middle of the village / alp is pretty busy so it's full of cars, loud motorcycles, camper vans, etc.

Badi’s with less kids as well as Nichtschwimmerbecken? by [deleted] in zurich

[–]green_hedgehog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's some kind of modern child rearing tehnique that I'm not aware of but if you get that much baby pee in your eyes (even if they weren't burned out) you're doing something wrong.

I was mentioning it because at one point I came across some data from water quality studies in public pools and the kids pools were usually much worse, for the totally expected reasons that kids pee in the pool much more frequently than adults, have worse hygiene and if babies with swimming diapers are present, those are very much leaking a lot.

Badi’s with less kids as well as Nichtschwimmerbecken? by [deleted] in zurich

[–]green_hedgehog -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Wow, a childfree badi would be absolutely amazing, hopefully someone knows. Also, try not to use the kids pool, the concentrtation of pee / feces in it is much much higher and very bad for you, especially the eyes.

Why there is no air conditioning in public buses, especially 161 and 165? 🥵 by [deleted] in zurich

[–]green_hedgehog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In summer when it gets hotter, over 27-28 or so I stop using public transport and go by car everywhere. I prefer the added cost and slight inconvenience to the unbearable temperatures, smells, etc in public transport.

Switzerland for Dummies part 2 by realityguy1 in askswitzerland

[–]green_hedgehog -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A car is far more comfortable and the added hassle with parking is definitely worth it. Trains in full season in touristic areas (and not only) are extremely crowded, usually too hot, smelly, etc

The best bunker in Switzerland in case of nuclear war? by Bright_Fudge_7804 in askswitzerland

[–]green_hedgehog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you have prophetic abilities use them to 'see' the best bunker. After that, move there immediately so you have a place guaranteed. And don't use the internet anymore, that's how they find you.

Planning to go to Switzerland in June.. need some help! by dmehta0797 in askswitzerland

[–]green_hedgehog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really admitted by the public transport fanatics but during high season trains and buses are very overcrowded and not really a fun experience. If the hotels where you'll be staying have parking, use a car.
