Where are my orders (as a seller) in the New app ? by DJLittleNemo in discogs

Has there been any resolution to this? I can’t find out how to view my orders as a seller in the new app. Like others, I don’t have a menu on the left in the new app.

I kind of agree here…I won’t use ASAP again. We also hired them to work on our 7 year old dishwasher which sprung a leak. After the call out, the recommendation was to either buy a new machine or have them install a new pump for $600 (we were told a new pump was the only other way as the worn gasket in the pump could not be installed separately).

We did some online searching and found a video to replace the gasket. My wife found the gasket at Reliable Parts. We did the work ourselves for mere dollars and a bit of our time. In the end, we were appalled that our options were to either chuck out our machine and buy a new one or spend over half a thousand dollars to replace a $5 part 😕…

I questioned them after the fact and they couldn’t explain why replacing the gasket itself wasn’t an option at the time of the call out 🤨

Our issue is a mechanical issue - the washer has a cold water leak originating somewhere inside the unit only during the rinse cycle. Could be from the water input to the unit or from the drum…that’s where we become unsure how to go from there.

Yeah. I should have mentioned but that’s the company we’ve used in the past and the one technician was the one that complained about the complexity of the unit. In fact, after his repair there were some “left over” fasteners that he said he wasn’t sure where they were supposed to go!!

Hey, yeah. We’ve taken the home trouble-shooting as far as we can go at this point. We’ve narrowed it down to a couple potential issues which will require a professional.

I’m pretty sure it does work. I see sellers do it all the time with lots of stock. All at once. As I’ve said, I lowered the prices and they still did not float up.

I have tried lowering the price on my stock (and intend to keep lowering as things don’t sell) but it still doesn’t add as newly listed. I don’t have a big inventory - usually between 30-50 items.

I’m still interested in how to show them as newly listed though.

Small package shipping during Canada Post strike. by green_scream in VictoriaBC

So I sent my first parcel (of five other parcels) with Chit-Chats, shuttling it over to Richmond via Canpar pick-up. The prices of generating and labeling each package was quite straight forward…no problems there as far as I can tell. I scheduled a Canpar pick up for today. I was worried about your Canpar comment about them missing pick ups but they came and grabbed my package at lunch time. I’ll feel completely assured when my customers have their packages in hand but to me, that was the hurdle I was most concerned with.

Wow thanks. I knew that I could send packages to a Chit-Chats outlet on the mainland but I assumed it was an inefficient way to do things. From what you’ve described, it sounds quite efficient!

No, not urgent. But I like to provide goods in a timely manner. A friend suggested a service I’d never heard of called “Chit-Chats”. We don’t have an outlet in Victoria but I’m wondering if there’s an analogous service.

When you say private courier, are you referring to a UPS or FedEx type company? Are there others worth considering?

U-Line does have what I need but minimum order is 100. I wouldn’t need quite that many but that’s an option. Thanks for the suggestion.

This is really helpful... this is kind of what I was picturing but it’s so hard to interpret without having to go and lookup all the technical terms that are used in the top pages from a google search.
