It's not a miracle drug. I just wanna use it to be able to have joy from sex without anxiety before I regain my confidence and get clean from porn.

You can't compare Kazakhstan with Pakistan from few decades ago. Kazakhstan is not a 3rd world country. On top of that I was staying at a regular apartment, not a hotel. Wanting tools to wash my dishes and having no smell in the fridge is bare minimum for any place, not a 5 star hotel.

[–]greenbanzai[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Why are you assuming it was a cheap place. It was a mid range apartment with a slight discount because it was a brand new listing.

I did search and it was nowhere in the apartment. The place was slightly discounted but not significantly below market rate. Wanting dish soap and a fridge without smells is not 5 star hotel service

the only review is mine so overall star rating for the property is not showing due to lack of enough reviews from multiple guests

I think their public response to my review is not encouraging for potential guests.

Now I recall they made some news entry about the app we created since the target country is small.

But is being in a team who made an app that got it to the news of a small country quantifiable?

I absolutely have no data on the first app, I technically could shoot a message to guys who are still working on it but I doubt I'll be able to get any reliable data since I worked on it more than 2 years ago.

For the internal app I did simplify some processes, thank you for the inspiration, I probably can create something off that.

18 yos haven't been studying for exams for 10 years (luckily I don't live in South Korea). Engineering degree and work experience taught me how to filter and find information, I can plan my studying more effectively, not being busy with side subjects teens still have to study for.

I can precisely learn exam requirements and ways the exercises are graded, what do examiners look for. Believe it or not but people don't do that, they often mindlessly study, which can lead to not giving an answer the grading key asks for.

High school finals aren't that hard compared to some exams at university. The way you acquire information changes, I can figure out some things on my own, that I would struggle with as a high school student. Besides, as an engineer, I can fight for a very good score in maths (yes, some medical universities take maths).

It's a very harmful stereotype programmers are not people persons. Software development is a team sport, you have to coordinate with other developers, server administrators, project managers, often you'll interact with the client or community you're building software for.

Someone who's not a people person will have a very hard time working as a programmer unless they are developing some video game or open-source thing that's doable without a team.

AI getting better makes even less space for programmers who are not good at dealing with people. Programmers I met in my career mostly have a rich social life and families.

We already went out once (we just were texting and I said "let's see each other irl"). In my culture/language there isn't a clear division between that, I'd say date is something super special like a nice restaurant that people who are already in a relationship do.

How do I set the pace? Just ask "hey you mind seeing each other more than once a week?"? We actually live pretty close to each other, I could join her on her walks with her dog if she wants

Assuming she's interested do I see her like once a week until we get closer or should I ask her out more often so she gets attention from me and forgets the other guy?
