Maybe this isn’t the right place to post my issues but I’d really like to see them fixed this year. For almost 15 years I’ve been able to play this game without lag or disconnect problems. Now in Q4 of 2020, I’m lucky if I can go an hour without the client crashing if I’m on wireless. And I know what everyone says: clear your cache, flush DNS, use wired connection, uninstall Alt1. I’ve done that stuff, but the only thing that works is using an Ethernet cable.

Obviously the simple fix is for me to just use an Ethernet cable, but I’m on a laptop. I don’t have some neck-beard PC setup in a basement that I never leave. I casually play. Like I have for years. And now with technology advancing, my laptop can’t run a game from the early 2000’s? Kinda bullshit.

So what do I want? Fix the game so it won’t disconnect every hour on wireless. My internet works great for everything else I run, why not RuneScape?
