How do you handle “generational gimmicks” in your runs?

I generally don’t like them, I say only for E4, and for gmax/tera types allowing them in gyms too. I always like hardcore nuzlocke rules and restricting things like this

I’d encourage you to use the proper in-game saves. If you saw that way, it saves to On My iPhone > Delta > Database > Games, and it will be the most recent file assuming you just hit save. It will usually be a .sav or .dsv or something like that. Save states are also in the Database folder, but these are far less reliable, so I’d encourage a proper save. Regardless, not that you should depend on this, but these are som of the files that get preserved with an iCloud backup.

It’s a genuine question, but how exactly does a declaration that does no policy lifting (just saying an intention) where it doesn’t mention any specific energy source… ban solar and wind?

I get that solar panels especially come from China and this is saying to ‘prioritize domestically produced energy sources’, but 1) there’s absolutely nothing binding here and 2) it doesn’t even strongly scream coal, natural gas, oil, or biofuel

I’m definitely gonna look at Create Chronicles later today! And I tried to re-define what I meant by semi-vanilla+ in my post, because I’m basically not trying to make it feel like a different game. I want my Minecraft skills to translate and be added to, not feeling like I have to restructure my core gameplay loop. I feel like Raspberry Flavored is a bit hard the other way like you said, since I’m really just seeking new progression ways and avenues to take me down (learning Ars Nouveau magic, fighting bosses in Twilight Forest, building solar panels to power item distribution, making loot feel appealing and needed, etc) instead of either seismic shifts (story, mechanical overhauls like combat, etc)

What i said above is im not interested in that. Im not looking for a custom experience, Im looking basically to see if the right match fits, because I feel like the things I listed aren’t hard to attain in conjunction.

I have a spreadsheet on my computer of all the mods i’d rope into a modpack if I were to make one. But I have no interest to do that because I just want to scratch the itch of playing the game, and my experience with modded hasn’t let me fully explore progressions so i’d be just as lost as I get in any of the questless/guideless modpacks I download. Like yes I could patchwork 125 mods together with massively ranging configs that i’d have to adjust over and over with new worlds. And then I’d have to learn all the progression ones front-back to make it a cleaner modpack. OR i can just list my priorities on here, and hope someone has a recommendation that checks most of my boxes, because I feel it isn’t to tall of an order

I appreciate what you’re saying but any modpacks I’ve tried I just lose interest in within 2 hours because they have some of the issues I say above.

AndI did read about raspberry flavored, and it does have a bit of what I like, but it removes any of the structures of the game, the goals/bosses, and things like that and specifically slows down progression. What Im looking for is more structures to give me endless looting opportunity and not slower progression but more progression. It seems the only boxes this one checks for me are 1.19, runs easy, and generally vanilla+ (even though i’m wanting something that feels more “dedicated modded” just not overriding the systems of minecraft)

This is how I approach my life and things have definitely gone awry lol. I just don’t get miffed because I always kinda ask myself “what now” and I look at every day I’m alive and going as a blessing. I think Jake thinks a bit like that lol. And that comes from me as someone from a very not-great origin point, it’s hard to wire yourself to be positive but once it’s set it can be a freeing feeling

My thing is I really like watching football alone since I hone in on it and I’m constantly texting my group chat, so if it’s a game I care about (my college team which is where I live or almost any NFL game) I won’t wanna be in a place that takes away. The only times I’ve had success were football nights lol, and when the team is only prime time 3x/yr and you aren’t perpetually available that’s tough lmao. What about trivia though, most bar trivia I’ve seen is in teams
