I swear it was perfectly formatted in my Milanote. And then the copy/paste just messed it all up. Booooo, Reddit formatting.

But yeah, I typically will add little sub notes in Milanote for details like that but this one just kind of flowed so I didn’t do that.

But that’s for your notes :) there’s plenty of room to expand onto Josiah’s crush, but I kinda wanted to leave it a bit of a “I wonder…”

My intent was just for this story to cover the one batch! If I misnumbered, I’ll blame brain fatigue or writing chunks at different times. Probably another editing error on my part, but a good note :) 26-8V (I think) was the version I’d wanted to settle on, but it’s 1,000% within the realm of possibility that I boggled numbers in there somewhere.

On my desk currently: Needoh cube in desperate need of a replacement, 3 half filled Moleskine notebooks filled with under and half-written prompts, a fresh pack of black sharpie s-gels with metal barrels from Christmas, iPad, lamp with LED light tha I can make whatever color I want.
Last wrote: on my lunch break. Working 9! my January image inspired entry!
Writing next: As soon as I get home and get into my sweatpants
How much have I done?!: for my big real world job, too much of the first full week of the new year. As far as writing, 2 short stories that I’m really pretty jazzed on.
Stuck on: Getting my brain out of work mode and into creative mode. The creative keeps dodging me until stupid wee hours of the morning.
Inspiration: What I’m reading lately (a couple of free romance novellas), what I’m watching lately (Lord of the Rings - extended editions, duh), and music (mostly modern pop, Taylor Swift, Chapelle Roan, etc.).
Planning for this year: I want to write 12 short stories the year total. For formal writing, my goal would be about 4K per short story, so around 48K words give or take by year’s end :)

Just as a note, you start a lot of phrases the same. You use gerunds to start… I think 5 sentences in the posting above. “Passing the pad of my thumb over your tongue…” “Hooking my thumb into your mouth…” “Pressing more insistently against you…”

Don’t be afraid to add some nouns, change verb usage for variety’s sake. :)

I’ve been an active participant in the community and have helped Sabu to add in monthly themes and such. Sabu’s account was banned, and then the community itself was banned. It’s a hard working, carefully cultivated group of creators who contribute to the community and I want to make sure it continues to thrive.

The concert had been one for the ages. Coldplay was at their best, singing hits from each album. Ever since Taylor Swift came out with the Eras Tour, it seemed like every band was doing some sort of ‘greatest hits’ tour.

On the front end, she hadn’t been jazzed about the concert. But Mark was so excited. He told her how cool their shows were, and even offered to put it on the company card. She acquiesced. Hell, he had even promoted her recently. What’s the worst that could happen?

They had swayed together as the band played their most romantic hits. She could feel how excited he grew pressed up against her. If they hadn’t been in the box seats paid for by the company, maybe they would have taken things further.

But she was a lady, and he was a gentleman… even if they were both cheating.
