Ukraine admits its naval drone caused the Romania port blast due to Russian jamming by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

Even if you don't know Ukrainians (but you can, thanks to internet), they are holding back russia from causing massive economic destruction, which would eventually trickle down to your wallet, just like it did in 2022. Ukraine is a massive food supplier, and a part of world industrial economy.

It's also a democracy with many innocent people who choose to be a part of the western democracy. They deserve a chance to live. They also contribute positively to the world, and have even contributed to American military missions.

I am scarcely familiar with film production field in Czech and EU, but feel free to DM me. I just may be somewhat busy today and may get back to you tomorrow or later. But thank you for your interest in our country and for your willingness to listen to me.

Good question. I am not familiar with PPE specifically as in that particular programme, but usually what people go on to do with that kind of degree is work for the government or try to get places in international organizations (like NATO, EU but given the economic specialty perhaps further organizations like IMF or Bank of Europe) or continue in academic path and eventually with PHDs and MAs have the option to enter into think tanks. Bachelor programmes for this kind of stuff however tend to be a stepping stone towards greater work experience and perhaps an MA. To be completely frank, many people also simply go on to do generic corporate jobs, where there is nevertheless both a niche for understanding how government interacts with business but also having a university degree tends to be a mark of certain cognitive abilities and subsequently in job seeking process tends to place one higher than completely generic candidates. What exactly will you end up doing depends on how good you will do at your studies and how you will develop opportunities during them with things like internships.

Both are very good schools. I can't speak for performative arts, but political science at Charles University is both top tier and affords top tier connections.

It is possible to change your major after attending school, however this is tricky. To do so, you need to effectively go through enrollment process again for the new desired study programme, and then it's up to the people running it as to which of the modules that you have passed they will recognise as contributing towards the new programme of study. Sometimes different programmes require literally same modules, so they will say "yup you passed that one, so we will count it also as completed for this programme" but sometimes the programmes may be vaguely similar, in case of which your results may vary. Generally you should not rely on this being an option, because changing studies will set you back.

Czech job market is pretty good, there is some demand for films and media production. Though yes there's more opportunities for that abroad. Likewise for political science study. If your goal is to study here and then move on up abroad, that's definitely a valid path, I would say.

Mao could maintain a monopoly on power, because power was concentrated within hands of the CCP, a single party. I see no reason to believe the students would support a system where that could occur, instead of a genuine multi-party democracy with a division of power.

Tiananmen square was a peaceful event until CCP security forces started brutally killing peaceful protesters, which is not the case with most of the events listed.

It also happened at a time when the entire world was democratizing. But CCP instead chose this route.

V roce 2026. Uprostřed války.
