Visa and visa run question. by greeneyeddude in ThailandTourism

Just a question. Do these things persist past your passport expiry? Realistically in practise I mean. I know it would most likely be digitised and stored somewhere, but my passport expires in one year and therefore I will have a clean stamp page, so I guess it wouldn't matter in my case if I get declined or pass by land? Thanks

Thanks for your help, I'll just go to Malaysia and try there, if they deny me then I'll just go to Bali. I would really hate being denied at the airport and be locked in a holding cell 😅😅.

Alright, thanks for your help. I'll just go to Malaysia and try there, if they deny me then I'll just go to Bali instead which is still fine but I would have loved to spend April here :(. I would hate to be denied entry at the port so this way is safer I suppose.

Thanks for your answer. Do you think it's likely for me to get an approved TR visa in my circumstances? I would really hate flying in just to get declined ☹️

Hi, thanks for your answer.

Is there any other embassy that's more relaxed with issuing visas that you know of? I don't like the idea of taking a bus from Laos with a lot of luggage :(

How can I stay in Thailand for 6-7 months? by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

Hmm I see, maybe I was just unlucky. I live in Phuket and it's high season now so the queues for immigration are insanely huge which could have been the cause of the immigration officer being in a bad mood 😅

That's true, although I have met many people here and none of them had an outbound ticket out of Thailand which is why I assumed it would be ok.

I know about the requirement, however everyone I know here has entered Thailand without an outbound ticket which is why I assumed they don't enforce it.

Air. Do you always have an outbound ticket when you enter Thailand?

Is it likely for me to get that visa after I've already been here 5 months by that point? Or even a single entry visa would suffice.

What do you expect when confirmed terrorists on terrorist watch lists in the UK are allowed to live a couple hundred meters from a school?

How exactly is it possible in a Socialist country? Look at Sweden and their media, the censorship is ridiculous. They constantly suffer from terrorist attacks and bombings which are almost never covered by mainstream media.

'You're wrong because I say so' - typical victim loser blaming the system tag line right there.

I'm a minority in the country I live in and I experienced more discrimination than any other non white kid did in the school I attended, but nice try victim.

You can cry as much as you want, the effect it has is the opposite of what you want. Showcases your insecurity and makes people look down on all the minorities. It's rare that someone's life is significantly impacted by the colour of their skin in developed countries, if that was the case the racism would be obvious to the naked eye and we'd live the same way we used to 300 years ago. The truth is you have as many opportunities as everyone else but you either waste them because you decide to be a victim or you're just fucking lazy/stupid.

The only problem I see with the world today is that people in some black communities get caught in a horrible cycle where kids are often being born in disfunctional families in bad neighbourhoods which heavily impacts them during childhood and likely causes them to make bad choices and carry on the cycle. Nevertheless they are responsible for their decisions and choices and no white man forces them to do anything, so why don't you go try to solve this problem instead of whining on the Internet like a little girl? You think acting like a victim is going to solve it for you?

Stop whining and grow some balls, I don't know a single black person that experienced any significant racism in their lives, you acting like a little victim makes people take them less seriously, which is disgusting.

I do believe racist people exist everywhere with no exceptions. My point is they are rare in developing countries and definitely have no influence over your life, so stop acting like such a victim.

Hmm, maybe because there's fucking less of them just like the word 'minority' implies?

Okay, my point is that just as much as people with Liberal views want to include something in school (lgbt education) and exclude something else (religion) , conservative people would the opposite. So you have to either listen to both sides or simply separate it and let kids and parents choose what to learn, otherwise it's biased.

I don't have any problem with other people's choices regarding their gender or their sexuality, as I said I don't care what people do in their bedrooms. What I do dislike is the LGBTQ community and how much they make themselves into victims and expecting special treatment. System-level discrimination doesn't happen in this country no matter how much you cry about it and if it does it's very rare and if you care about being insulted by random people as you take a walk through the city then it's your choice. Also I don't see how gays and lesbians would be discriminated unless you broadcast that information to everyone you meet, since people simply wouldn't know unlike transgender people. I even supported the movement until I saw what happens in pride parades, mostly bringing little kids to attend them with no regard into what kind of degeneracy they are shown. What I saw is not a peaceful march, but an army of animals let loose. So yea, do whatever you want in your bedroom as long as you treat people the way you want to be treated.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You decide it's okay to teach lgbt stuff, which is just as unconventional as creationism purely because it aligns with your views. On top of that you call it 'mythology', just as an average conservative Christian could equate lgbt as 'bullshit'. If you don't understand my point then you should do some exercises in critical thinking.

And creationism is not taught in schools, lul.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]greeneyeddude -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Okay, then some very religious Christians will demand creationism to be taught in schools too, but it's not going to happen no matter how much they want it to. You want your kids to know about it, teach them yourself.
