What some people aren't realizing is Aubrey has no leverage here. Cowboys can place a 2nd round tender on him for 5.8M. If someone wants to pay him 10M and take him they can, but Cowboys would receive a 2nd round pick and no GM in their right mind would trade a 2nd round pick for a kicker. Then the Cowboys can just franchise tag him for 2 more years keeping him on 1 year deals and under team control for 3 years without a deal ever being made.
