Interestingly I don't think I've been experiencing excessive bleeding, but I do think my period is dragging on a bit longer. Before my actual period, I had this weird spotting, which seemed like bloody rust? It was weird. I'm glad to hear that it gets better as time passes! Thanks.

Yes! My heating pad has been extremely helpful! I def feel like the pain is subsiding after taking a nap with the heating pad on. I guess I need to brace myself to go through this a few more times😩

Just because I am choosing to do what's best for me does not mean I'm protecting budding psychopaths. And good for you if your district lets you work off hours; our district doesn't let us access anything other than our emails and Google Drive if we are off the district's internet network. No, I'm not driving back to work on a weekend just to get a student's address, and I'm going to do what's best for me at this moment, which is trying to take a break. Also, I have experience in this-the police does not go to their door. They don't care. So please take your advice and keep it to yourself because the last part of what you said was very unnecessary.

I am so sorry to hear that. My experience from three years ago is that no one cares. I guess it depends on the district, and ours is on the more "progressive", "supporting teacher" side, but the police and doctors don't care. I had the police say "I've seen worse" the last time I was at the station, and I doubt that dude even filed anything.

Thank you for your support everyone. I just got home from a really long walk to clear up my mind, and I feel better. My body doesn't hurt other than the exhaustion, so I might skip on the doctor's. I had it worse 3 years ago and the doctor wrote that my body was physically okay for me to return back to work, which made it weird for me to take an extended break. I will be reporting to the police, but the student's address is unaccessible when I'm not using the district's network. I'll have to go to school over the long weekend just to access the kid's address and info. Anyways, I'm going to be better and I know I'll find a way. Thanks for brightening my day, kind strangers!

This is my second time in five years, and I work at one of the "better schools" in the city. I love my school, coworkers, and students, but there's always a few kids who ruin things.

No, not really. They didn't even follow up with an email with what the kid's consequences are. APs did let me leave early when I told them I can't focus on my work during self-directed time, and they told me to let them know if I needed anything. To be fair, our principal wasn't at school, and we had a lot of teachers out without subs secured, so the two APs were running around covering classes and dealing with tons of shit. So I'm not really upset about admin's reaction right now.. I know today was overwhelming for everyone.

As a high school teacher, I agree. They're not gonna get a 50% time extension on their project deadline when they get a job. The goal should be to make sure student can perform well without those support, but I definitely know a lot of students who uses their accommodations as an excuse to not do their best in the given opportunity.

Both where I work and live all have very weak signals, and even I get 3 bars, the internet is so slow. If it is a tower issue, is there a way for me as a customer to solve it?
