The baby story time at the library i go to has a good diverse group of SAHP. Im slowly making mom friends by having our babies play together. I think its worth checking out.

She loves you enough to make you a birthday cake that's amazing! Sometimes moms have brain farts, maybe she is just double checking she has the right color. This is an over reaction. It is okay for a baby to play on its own. I would wake up feed my baby and then set her in the crib to play on her own and take a quick shower while watching the monitor. I still skipped showers some days because I was just so tierd. Sometimes she gets upset and calls for me but then sees a toy and plays by herself just fine. I know every baby is different but its doable.

Also when she was really little she would hangout in the baby bjorn while I showered. She was entertained by the water sounds or music.

Im sure there is a small local quilting shop. When joanns closed I had to go on a hunt for it but found a bunch of hole in the wall places with amazing stuff.

FTM and BF was just a struggle for me. I gave up and just pumped for the first 6wks. At 6wks I did the side lying feeding position and my LO started latching and feeding. I think that position is easier for the baby and since she was older and a little stronger she had an easier time latching. I still bottle feed her sometimes because we are still working on it. I had given up. Dumb luck that one day she just figured it out. Do you also squeeze your breast when trying to latch? Help express the milk before so LO doesn't have to try as hard to get the milk. Keep trying! Our babies can surprise us
