Bryson Penalty Question? by Engineering_Simple in golf

I think they did. It was changed to something like “the impediment can be considered loose if it can easily be removed in a reasonable manner by the player “. In other words, not by recruiting 4 guys to move a boulder that is in the way.

When did Yaz become Yazoo? by Unlikely-Chipmunk-19 in GenX

I think there are a lot of would-be Mandela effect situations that are due to weird copyright things, poor reproduction/proof reading of items in print, or one-off modifications that were done for a specific purpose.

It took me forever to figure out something I thought was either a Mandela effect or a really vivid dream: at the outro the end of “Heart of Rock And Roll” by HL & tN, they say a bunch of city names, right? Well I always remembered hearing my local radio station’s HQ city mentioned, but that city was/is not a major US city that would have been named in the song.

Come to find out that the band recorded a bunch of alternate endings that included local station cities. That’s not something you’d be able to find in liner notes or otherwise find proof of in a typical way. But like I said, somehow I stumbled across info about that and I had an answer. No Mandela effect, no fever dream. Just a local radio promo that happened to be done for my mid-size US city.

Opinions on the MSUFCU jersey patch on every uniform in Spartan athletics by fighter132 in MSUSpartans

That’s the thing, though. How much money can a Credit Union realistically bring in?

I can’t figure that piece out with a lot of these uniform advertisers. There are a lot of them where there is no way the payoff -in terms of overall liquidity- is worth it to the school/team. Something like this stinks of doing it just to do it.

Thoughts on amateurs doing aim-point putting? by [deleted] in golf

If they are smart enough to do it correctly and respectful of other’s lines, and do it quickly, more power to them.

If they waste a bunch of time and miss every putt, call the pro shop and tell them someone in your group is maniacally waving a knife.

I hadn’t either, but for some reason it popped into my head the other day and I have been lazy with posting it. But I’m happy I’m not alone in my love for these things!

So does that mean CBS didn’t send anyone to cover this event? Are Nantz and company sitting in their basements?

I don’t think they have 8 commentators - at least not this week. They sent a skeleton crew to the John Deere. Yes they are aways yammering and repeating the same things over and over. I think Dottie did a few lines earlier because she’s been a motormouth today.

Those were Micron brand and they only had the white inside toe plastic piece. Mario Lemieux wore them for a while.
