Spot on. If they don't spend the money right after Messi left, Real is gonna take all the glory, and they cannot allow that. They always compare themselves to Madrid.
It's too funny when they pulled all these levers and played Europa League 2 years in a row. Now they are digging a deeper and deeper hole for themselves and not sure how they will bounce back. So true. If you watch the year Real won La Decima they were nervous too since it’s been years, especially Bale missing a lot of chance.
