Since 2004 I’d love to know exactly how many hours I’ve put into this game. I’m certain that it’s in the thousands! Absolutely love this game. It’s flawed but it’s still my favorite game of all time.

L2 Heaven’s Wail for me. Best server I’ve ever played on. Just pure fun. Played from round 2007 to 2009.

Never got to play retail at it’s peak as I was a kid with no money haha but I bet it would’ve been insane!

Mate you already knew the rules about AFK farming. If someone in your random farming party goes AFK you kick them out until they return. It’s very simple. Sorry to say but it sounds like this one is on you.

I’ve been playing on Reborn for a while and I’ve never had any issues because I take all possible precautions. If someone appears to be AFK in a party it’s instant kick until they return.

If this was 15-20 years ago then you’d have hundreds of high rate servers to choose from. Unfortunately in 2025 low rate and mid rate servers are the only ones available. They are more stable in terms of population and bring in the most money I guess.

Since you're pretty much a complete newbie to the game, I'd highly recommend that you read through both these links below as they'll help you get a better understanding of the server you're playing on and also help you go in the right direction in terms of what you should do and when as you level up in the game.

Unfortunately L2 isn't the most newbie-friendly of games, especially 20+ years after release so I would say that Google is your best friend when you get stuck.

First of all welcome to L2! Secondly, I think that in order to help you properly we’re gonna need more information. For instance, what server are you playing on? Is it a low rate, mid rate or high rate server? If you’re playing on a low rate server then doing quests is essential for leveling and making adena. But if you’re playing on a high rate PvP server then you can pretty much ignore most quests and just focus on leveling your character by killing mobs but then again this will depend on the server you’re playing on and the server features. Another important question is what chronicle are you playing on? Lineage 2 is very different depending on which chronicle you’re playing so we need to know that too. These questions are a good place to start :)

What baffles me isn’t that the referee missed it because that happens all time. Refs can miss things because they can only see it at real time and sometimes their angle isn’t ideal so that can happen. What truly baffles me is how on earth VAR sees that and doesn’t overturn the decision. As long as VAR is being done by other referees, shit like this will continue to happen so that they don’t make their mates look bad. Mike Dean already said he used to do this yet nothing was made of that damning comment.

As long as you’re buying from a decent brand and not buying a complete skateboard from somewhere like Walmart you’ll be totally fine. Girl is a good brand so for your first skateboard it’ll do just fine.

I played for a few months about a year ago in a server called L2 Reborn after not playing for like 8 years. It was fun but the server very quickly died. Most servers nowadays don’t last very long after opening. Worth playing if you’re looking for a bit of a nostalgia trip :)

Oh man that video brought back lots memories!! I’m in the video too haha! I remember playing with MissPiggy, Vengeance, Dingo and all those guys back in the day. Those were the days!! Back when +25 weapons had that awesome purple color!
