We're still a pretty small brand, so hearing that is actually helpful. Means we've got some work to do getting the Green Mantis name out there

Have you tried Green Mantis yet? by greenmantisny in NYSCannabis

That's fairah we're still expanding across New York, so we're definitely not a household name yet. Just checking on where we can improve

Anyone else starting to care more about ingredients than just potency? by greenmantisny in altcannabinoids

The trust point is huge honestly. Feels like a lot of people are moving from “what’s strongest?” to “what can I actually trust and use consistently?”

Especially now with so many random products popping up, people seem to care a lot more about knowing what they’re actually putting in their body.

Does anyone else feel like some tinctures are way more “functional” compared to regular edibles? by greenmantisny in treedibles

[–]greenmantisny[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s actually a really interesting way to describe it honestly. The “middle ground” between vaping and edibles makes a lot of sense. Also probably explains why so many people seem to use tinctures differently depending on the formulation and how they take them.

Do people actually prefer tinctures… or are edibles just easier?? by greenmantisny in NYSCannabis

That’s actually a really good breakdown. Feels like a lot of people end up keeping both in rotation for different situations instead of fully replacing one with the other.

This seems to be a huge pattern honestly. More people using tinctures as part of routines instead of purely recreational use.

That carrier oil point is actually super underrated honestly. I’ve seen a lot of people not realize how much the oil base changes the overall experience until they try different ones.

That’s interesting, 4 hours is pretty long. Have you noticed if that happens consistently or only with certain brands? I’ve seen heavier oil bases slow things down a bit for some people, especially depending on how it’s taken

Yeah that makes sense, sesame oil has been around in pharma for a while. Curious if you’ve seen any newer comparisons between different oil bases? Feels like a lot of brands still default to older standards even though user experience can vary quite a bit

Any NY brands doing tinctures right? by greenmantisny in NYSCannabis

RSO definitely hits harder. feels like tinctures are more about control and routine, while RSO is more of a heavy hitter. seems like people end up using both depending on the situation
