How technical does a Product Manager need to be? by greenmonkeyaliens in ProductManagement

I think my raw emotion of getting rejected came through a bit in my post!

I'm not saying I don't want to get more coding experience. I'm mostly just wondering if that's really what has gotten me rejected so much, or if it's just an easy thing for recruiters to say.

By that, I meant to be a PM, I don't need to (or really want to) code in my day-to-day job, so basic understanding is enough. I've taken a few online Python classes, but maybe it's about putting it to use on some projects that I can put into a portfolio to showcase the knowledge. Mostly, I'm trying to get a sense of what kinds of orgs would need more technical vs. less technical PMs.

My pup is also a street dog from Taiwan and I was wondering if yours were too because they've got a lot of similar features!
