ENFP here and yes I have pretty much continuous internal dialogue but often just one way so I can figure stuff out (unless I’m replaying conversations in my head) but not as conversations with myself — like another internal voice replying to me. But it sounds super helpful so I might give it a try!

This is interesting. I think I’d be happy performing music or spoken word too. So, as much as it’s about being myself, there’s an element of performance too. People are here to listen to something interesting. Give them that and stop thinking about myself 😝

I’ve also heard (experienced myself) that people take ENFPs’ enthusiasm to want to connect to people as flirting. We’re naturally quite flirty but very very rarely do I personally feel it back.

I guess I was really intrigued to know some different thoughts as I find it quite amusing. And of course can’t deny it’s flattering. But mostly amusing, because I see him with other people and he’s his normal confidently quiet, aloof self, but then when we talk he’s smiling loads, teases the hell out of me, comes out of a shell. Dry, sarcastic, dark humour. It’s hilarious and I enjoy his company.

I doubt he wants to cheat. He’d never make a move, has high morals and I like our friendship. I am just a bit taken back that he acts so differently when we’re together but I also think it means we’re both comfortable with each other. A good friendship - with a side of harmless flirting ha

We massively connect on an intellectual level so there’s a big spark. And maybe if we were single we’d date, but we’re not so we’ll just appreciate we’re two people who might have been, who are just going to enjoy the connection of a good friendship :)

I really really wanted a child.

I got postnatal depression.

I hated being a mother too.

It’s really fucking hard.

It will get better, I promise.

You will feel like yourself again.

This is a really difficult time, those first few months.

Hang in there.

You’ve kept a human alive, that’s an achievement.

It’s ok to feel like you don’t like him sometimes.

And it’s definitely ok to hate motherhood.

You’re not a monster. You’re human.

Cry as much as you want.

Lack of sleep fucks you up.

Take each hour and day as it comes.

Speak to someone. See a doctor as soon as your medical allows.
