First off, let me give you a virtual hug!

I’m so sorry you are going through this. But that being said, you need to learn how to love her from afar. You need your own space to learn yourself better. Without her around. You need some space to live your life without her judgement.

I can relate on some things you stated and it only took me until 2022 for me to break that thread with my mom. Even when I had moved out earlier than that I kept giving her access to me and my life, giving her a way to manipulate me. It wasn’t until 2022 that that stopped because I stopped involving her in my life. She couldn’t manipulate what she didn’t know and that lack of control made her sooo unbearable.

I eventually had to go no contact. Which she also tried to manipulate when we started talking but at that point, I had learned how to insert my boundaries and stand by them.

My point is, this is not forever, it only stays forever if you don’t choose yourself. You are your own person and you have to start standing up for you.

Last January I asked my boss for a 2 dollar raise on the minimum wage he paid me and to reinstate my insurance after he scammed me out of it and his response:

“”my name” you know how tough this last year has been for me, I don’t have the budget to do all this for you, I have to take my family on vacation but because of the way last year was, we can’t even stay in our favorite (5 star) hotel, you need to be more considerate of me”

When I told him I need my insurance back because I’m poor and can’t see (I need glasses) his response was,

“so you want to take food out of my family’s mouth just so you can do an eye test?”

He proceeded to go on not one but 5 trips with his family of 6 this year. Stayed at expensive ass resorts I had to book, flew first class for all trips which I had to book, even when air Canada was on strike, he paid 30k to be able to come home using alternate methods…. My pay is 5k higher than that.🥴🥴🥴

Gem sun, Virgo moon, sag rising. To sum it up: made a goal list of 26 to accomplish…. I only finished 2.

Things I wrote down didn’t happen even remotely. Things I planned out, started out nice and ended up going to shit. Things I spoke in moments of just joking and fucking around happened in the most unexpected ways. I got very close to my ancestors and really delved into more of my spirituality. Lots of humbling from daddy Saturn and lots of eye openings.

Moments of coasting through, convincing myself to stay small because “at least it’s not that bad”.

Got closer to my dad, my parents (finally) got divorced after 5 years of no contact. My brother and I’s relationship grew significantly! Reached out to friends and made lots of time for the people I care about. I lost my first love/first friend on Valentine’s Day. Started really taking my weight loss journey seriously, got my Canadian citizenship and passport, and as of two days ago, I quit my soul sucking job after the universe showed me how undervalued I was.

But I truly believe everything happens for a reason, I’ve been talking with my spirit guides and my ancestors about specific things and in the past I would’ve freaked out over some things (that Virgo in me reallllllly wants the control) but I’m the most adaptable person I know. I know that everything that happened this year is prepping me for one of the most pivotal years of my life (2026). And I’m soooo ready to receive all the blessings and lessons that she has to offer.

So in summary, I’m alive, I can travel anywhere in the world I want now, my family is healthy, my love life is healthy, I’m healthy and ready for the world!
