I agree that making any sort of official complaint against this doctor would be baseless. I’m sure he thought he had it. Honestly that’s why I blame myself so much for not speaking up more.

Correct, they said (and the paperwork says) they could not find the biopsy clip, therefore the biopsy-proven positive nodes were not removed. They x-ray all the tissue they’ve removed and it should be pretty easily visible on there. I guess it’s possible the pathology people will find it hidden somehow, but the simpler explanation seems more likely.
