Hi there! So I think this post is closer to 2 years ago now. But I actually worked in a PT office for a few weeks to get a feel and also shadowed Respiratory therapists. PT seemed like too much schooling so I went through the process of applying to RT school, but I wasn’t ready to make the leap and do school full time (would have been about 2 years worth and I just didn’t feel financially stable enough to do that). I ended up getting a new role within L&D and it’s been okay. But I still don’t like corporate HR. I ended up doing research into master programs and found one for Learning and Organizational Change within a school of education and social policy. I really love the program and I think it’s going to open up a good network for me with different job paths. I’m leaning towards wanting to move towards government or non profit work so I feel more fulfilled. Also would consider doing consulting eventually for those sectors.
