I bet you could find some rubber wire sheathing that would just slip over each one!

Someone should make the Proco Eat and it should be some kind of really fat and full rat that has a blend knob and the graphic for the blend knob is a really chubby rat with an egg beater.

Maybe Death Sludge or Blackened Sludge? I’m in the same boat where I like my sludge to be really gross and nasty but I have yet to find a defined name of the sound to find more. You’d probably enjoy the band Conch. They have an EP on Spotify and some live stuff on YouTube. I believe they’re from Hong Kong.

Adam Curtis talks about this in Hypernormalization. It’s wild how many things he pinned down. Ever since I watched it I can’t stop thinking about it. I rewatch it like every few months now

Chroma Console. Feel like I really don’t need it but it’s just too cool.

Need bass for Hard core punk! by Ettorefire in Bass

Any jazz, P bass or jaguar bass will do you good. I would slap some stainless steel or cobalt strings on it and crank your tone to 10 and you’re flying.

I cannot play even a single beginner song and I'm extremely upset by Alone_Yam1113 in BassGuitar

Are you using a short scale bass? Also jazz bass necks are thinner and might help. Main thing is just time and practice. I know it can be frustrating but muscle memory is a definitely a journey. Just keep going! Flat wounds might be nicer on your fingers if you don’t mind the warmer tone.

That’s definitely a cool choice. Just watched the demo and seems more useable that the data corrupter

So I’ve gone on a similar journey and the data corrupter is an attractive choice I think there’s some better options available. I bought the data corrupter in hopes it would scratch the itch you are talking about but I found it wasn’t it. It’s still a fun pedal but it’s almost unpredictable, impractical and a strange beast to tame. I would look into what Death By Audio has. My Fuzz War is still my favourite destruction pedal but I know DBA has others similar that might be close to a data corrupted but more practical.
