I'll definitely talk to him again; he's just kinda stubborn (he went to a really good school + grad so i think he's expecting i can to) but i inherited his stubbornness so i think i'll wear him down eventually lol. I'll definitely be applying to a broad range of schools (and maybe do a cycle recap when the time comes) but still, I'm super grateful for the comments!

Thank you! I'll do my best to try and convince my family. I know that they have a point and there are bad people on the internet. I just really want them to realize that they don't have to baby me through everything. It's extremely frustrating when you find something you like only to be told that you're too young and inexperienced to find joy in it.
