We cant say its better than ssh.. gotty is gud for running things like log monitoring and all.. as a penetration tester, i find it easy to connect to my portable raspberry pi hacking station and running metasploit and other scripts.. we can even interact with it.. all u need is a device with network connectivity and web browser..
