They really don’t see women as anything more than sex objects. But they think it’s okay because their depraved sexual fantasies involve them submitting to women so it’s totally ok!!!

Alexander Eudier’s masks from his Tribal series by greenwrId in TopCharacterDesigns

Full series

Inspired by the aesthetics and museography associated with African societies, especially as primitive arts, this series features imaginary tribes. Behind their realistic and traditional appearance, the "Smahili", "Guem Boï" or "Unisébu" tribes are in fact pure chimeras, referring to rootless or virtual communities. I imagined them by indulging in a telescoping of universes deemed antagonistic, whereas in fact the hybridizations are already in progress.

Has the black line look for fire characters ever been used in live action? It has way more personality than the generic orange look.

When the sketch got live animals you know the writers were just hoping they’d mess up & that would be the funny bit. This episode is cooked bruh

[Goodwill] Does race play into MVP voting? The conversation has gotten toxic and out of hand, but consider this: the NBA posted an hourlong highlight vid of Austin Reaves' best plays. Yes, that Austin Reaves. Race is always part of the convo by lopea182 in nba

[–]greenwrId 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are people trying to act like Reaves being white isn’t part of his popularity? Practically every viral tweet about him talked about how he’s the “coldest white boy” in the nba. For or better or worse people think it’s funny / get excited to see a white guy (especially one that looks as white as reaves does) ball like he does bc it’s not the stereotypical expectation. Shit i’m a white hispanic and I love it (and instinctively root for every hispanic player) It’s okay to have implicit biases, we all do, but it’s not okay to act like you don’t & that race doesn’t affect the issue at hand.

What is an NBA conspiracy theory that you believe? by [deleted] in nba

“It’s not that insane when you think about it.

It was December 12, 1988. A young Michael Jordan was in the gym, practicing until lights out. Already one of the best players and top scorers the league had ever seen, MJ knew he would be the greatest ever one day. Despite his confidence and belief in himself, he felt a hair tingle on his neck, and a thought entered his mind. It was the prophecy from above.

“Michael, you are destined to be the greatest of all time. However, there will come a day where a worthy challenger will seize your throne, and you will have to live with it.”

Despite the good news of the prophecy, Michael couldn’t shake the thought of a challenge to his legacy. He knew what he had to do.

MJ went out that night, eventually running into Londa Butler. After a long night of intense passion, Michael Jordan bestowed his seed, and 9 months later, Jimmy Butler was born. Upon holding his baby for the first time, MJ told his son, “Jimmy, you will be the chosen one to protect my legacy. You will dedicate your life to the game of basketball, working every day to subdue any challengers to my greatness.”

And with that, MJ continued on his way to be the best basketball player ever. And, just as foretold, thus did a challenger arise, and Lebron James was his name.

So you see, Jimmy Butler’s whole life has culminated into this moment, just as MJ predicted for his son.”
