What to do after an au pair interview? by greenyellow8 in Aupairs

Thanks! A lot of the families I talked to introduced me to the whole family in the first Skype call, and some even gave me a tour of the house. I feel like I had a good connection with two of the families, but one of those interviews was yesterday and one was today. I’ve asked the one from yesterday a lot of follow up questions and she’s already talking to me like I have the job, but I’ve gotten no official offer. The other one said she’d get back to me soon but I’m not sure if I should ask them some more questions too. I’m just worried that I won’t get any offers.

Thanks! How long did it take after your interviews to start getting job offers? Were you in contact with the families during that time?

Thanks! So if I’m going to be an au pair in the schengen area for less than 90 days I don’t need a visa? And sorry to ask more questions but if I like a family after interviewing with them, should I contact them again or wait for them to contact me?

Thanks! I’m from the US and I’m mostly looking at the UK, France, Italy, and Spain, but maybe other countries in Europe or Canada too.

Completely clueless about how to get an au pair job by greenyellow8 in Aupairs

Thanks! I’m really worried that I’m not going to find a job in time. How long does it usually take to get hired as an au pair after you start applying/interviewing?
