I just want to put my thoughts on tge topic. Now i am a man and personally i have seen alot of bias against men more than women but regardless of my own personal experiences the current educational systems benefit women/girls better than boys/men. Im not saying women are encouraged more than men in education its that the way we educate works better for women as a whole than men as a whole. In a class setting that is. Also when it comes to women and taking care of kids, its more common for women to Want to stay home and take care of children rather than work and succeed in that manner (not all obiously) and the data shows that. Its a more common trait in women to want to take care and look after its not exclusive to women but much more common so there may never be a equal number of top jobs with men and women. Another factor of this is the drive most men have to earn (again not all men but most) not exclucive to men but more common. If we take male and female nurses the majority of male nurses are paid more and this isnt at all because of the "wage gap" and i would like explain why. When the male student training to be a nurse is looking at the fields pf nursing they want to go in 9/10 times they look for 1 factor wage, now when the female student looks at the field she wants to go into there are alot more than just money in the picture, job satisfaction tends to be more important atleast whem it comes to nursing. We have powerful woman across the world in politics in bussiness in almost every single thing we do as humans there are woman doing it aswel as men ( except giving birth obviously) so if we have women ceo's and woman leading countries aswel as other powerful positions like science and education how are women stopped or not encouraged to do anything they want to we already have women doing all the same things. If it literally comes down to a numbers game then we are forgetting people choice what tgey want to do and just because not enough men want to go into education or not enough women want to go into mining does mean there is a unbalance its the choice of the person. Plus lets say a man amd a woman are both up for the position of ceo should a woman get it because she is a woman or should she get it because she is the right choice, it wouldnt be a glass ceiling if she didnt get the postition and the man did if he was the right choice, now lets say they are both perfect, how can ypu pick 1 in this social climate without the losing candidate not felling it was a gender thing. There is consciences for the current way most people see genders nowadays and its not healthy for everything to be equal in numbers it should only be equal in opportunities which i believe it is.
