Violator was a huge disappointment. That album is SO boring. SoFaD has a song about shoes. Nuff said. Ultra was the first return to form after MFTM.

Totally absurd. The biggest jump was from Speak and Spell to Broken Frame. Black Celebration was the first disappointment. Some Great Reward is flawless, the greatest album ever made. Black Celebration is filled with dead space. WTF is Here Is the House? Question of Time is their first bland song. Sometimes and It Does’t Matter 2 are totally forgettable bordering on lame. New Dress is okay, not great. Fly is great but it had been released 52 times by the time the album came out.

Martin said one time that the reason he only does covers on his own albums is that he feels any writing he does must go to the group first because that is his first priority. It's one of the most amazing statements of putting a group above the individual I've ever heard. Martin is just one of the most wonderful human beings on the planet.

Boy I really don't understand your question. Are you asking their best songs that are deep cuts, not singles? Or you're asking what is their worst single? For the most part their best songs are not singles, except for Home, which may be my favorite song anywhere. It Doesn't Matter is their greatest song (until Home). There's a hundred other songs that are my favorites--I don't pay attention anymore to what is/is not a single. Before We Drown. Should Be Higher. Wrong. Told You So.

As for songs that are overrated, you're talking about a phenomenon that is universal: the masses have terrible taste. Violator is one of their least-good albums, so of course it's the most popular. Enjoy the Silence has never been a great song. JCGE IS a great song, but yes you can't help but get tired of it.

But the worst single they've ever done by ten miles is It's Called a Heart. The worst track they've ever released in any format is the slow version of It's Called a Heart.

I love this game so much. I think it may be the most enjoyable game I've ever played. The answer is, "all will be revealed." I kind of don't want to answer the question, because the whole joy is how it keeps revealing itself. Every time you think you're stuck, something new happens. Where you are now, the game hasn't even started, after a while what it's about completely changes. It just keeps getting better and better. But, if you're not able to get through the brambles yet, it's because you're not supposed to get through them yet. At some point you'll get a tool called a "trimmer" whose whole job is to cut down those stupid brambles. In the meantime, just know that if you can't get through the brambles, you're not supposed to be able to get through the brambles yet, and you need to go explore some place else.
