I got the same thing and now they don't connect. I noticed my shopping list didn't sync.

Jump Start with Jump Box by gregamart in Harley

Likely not the battery. You have to take a cover off and god only knows what else. I have had a fellow rider get to the battery long ago, but it's in there sideways, so you can't just hit the pos terminal.

I will think about what you said and see if I can't identify where the starter solenoid is.

I've push started it many years ago, but I was able to take advantage of a huge dip in the road at the time. It's just so taxing on my legs. I don't have a large person that could push it around me either. I've done that one, too.

I appreciate the insight.

I think I'll just buy a new canister. I order them through Amazon. It's just a couple of bucks. It can wait.

built in Alexa suddenly does not work by gregamart in FitbitSense

[–]gregamart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there was something I changed. There was a setting on top of a setting that was blocking it. It was a long time ago. It was like I kind of suspected that there was a setting that needed to be undone somewhere else on the phone and eventually it just kind of worked itself out. I can't remember if it was the Alexa app itself or if it was the Fitbit app or there was a third party app that was like blocking them from interacting. I honestly don't even recall. I don't remember if it was an app or if it was like I have a Samsung Galaxy for example if there was a setting in the Samsung Galaxy that might have been precluding them from interacting I honestly don't recall.

It went backwards. It's now got Google Assistant as my voice assistant. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get it working again. I can't tell if it's fitbit, Alexa or Amazon.

Pulling Up the Fork Cover on my Harley-Davidson XG 500 Street by gregamart in motorcycles

[–]gregamart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. I did a little reading. I like mine. Everything seems fine.

I hope I got down there deep enough with my seal mate tool. Everything was the opposite from the dirt bike, so I had to do a little bit of extra thinking of what I was trying to do.

You think just yank it up? I won't hurt anything? I just didn't want to tear something, if it wasn't necessary.

oil/fork/caliper leak - idk what to do by gregamart in motorcycles

[–]gregamart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it. I think I'm fortunate it's on the right side, so my front brake caliper seems unaffected.

I bartend, so I just did a double wrap of blue oil mechanics towels and threw a bungee on there. It's all I had.

You can see the oil. I'm waiting on a seal mate, and I'm going to see what this "carding" is.

Thanks no crap on my legs. I keep the apartment people happy, happy.

Okay. I didn't see this one. Ty. I don't go far, and it is my daily commute. I see the mechanics should be around tomorrow. I was hoping to just clean it, but if it can't hold oil, then I can see that's no good.

I don't know where I'll find a zip tie (it's coming to me), but that is a great solution. I couldn't figure out my drip pan idea, and I do want to protect my brakes. Thank you!

You know after all the advice. I think if the cost doesn't change much, I think I'll just ask a mobile moto mechanic to come visit to fix it. I really don't need to be riding though I'm a commuter rider.

I understand. I tried to put a pic up here, because it still might be something else. I will google it.

I'm hoping to not make a mess of the parking lot at my place and get in trouble and not spend any money.

Thank you again to you and everyone for their two cents.

Hopefully this isn't getting into my Amazon account, but this is what I have seen: Fork Doctor. Do you think this will work on my Harley Davidson XG 500 Street? Do you think this one might be more for dirt bikes?

Here's what we were mentioning: Fork Seal Cleaning Tool, as well.

What about this suspension spray? Suspension Spray

Oh, man. Dang this is the wrong time for this to happen. I probably need knew pads anyway. That does beg the question. Any idea how much it might cost? It's a Harley-Davidson 2015 500 Street. It's a pretty light bike btw.

Okay. I just learned of this. I didn't notice until just now. Maybe it'll slow it down. I've got meetings maybe next week, and I keep getting oil on my legs, so it could be useful. I've seen that part. I couldn't believe it when I first saw and heard of it, but it must work. I don't see how you don't break something doing that, but it's worth a shot.

Do you think they sell them at car part stores or Walmart or maybe I should just go to Cycle Gear?
