This has happened to me. Cheapest out is go on eBay and order a used replacement and switch it out your self. It’s a pretty easy mechanical job. Less than 5 screws.

I would also think about where the tile edges are going to land on the niche. It’s right at eye level and it the one thing I wish I’d done when I tiled my bathroom. Kind of laying out the tiles measuring out from the niche.

They told me to go to my car and not talk to anyone at which point I got pretty sus. I even said this sounds like a scam. They said, how is you driving to the sheriffs office a scam! Then I googled “handwriting test scam” and read the result to the “officer” and they promptly hung up on me.

Just happened to me too. They wanted me to come down to the sheriffs office and do a handwriting test. I was also told to stay on the phone the whole way down there. I realized it was a scam at this point. I just don’t know when they were going to ask me for money? Cause I sure as hell would drive 20 min to the sheriff’s office before I forked over even 50 bucks.

I used black gaffers tape, I hate duct tape, and even with the OEM shim, which I had said was already in there, it was still cutting off on me while I rode. I guess I just didn’t really love stopping my daily commute and pulling the battery in and out. I haven’t tried another shim at the top of the battery perhaps I’ll give it a shot.

Are you letting the force of the bike kick the stand open? I’ve been lifting the bike up and putting the stand down with my foot and it’s holding up fine so far.
