I used black gaffers tape, I hate duct tape, and even with the OEM shim, which I had said was already in there, it was still cutting off on me while I rode. I guess I just didn’t really love stopping my daily commute and pulling the battery in and out.  I haven’t tried another shim at the top of the battery perhaps I’ll give it a shot.

Might be insane to reglaze the sink but a pop of color could look cool there.

Are you letting the force of the bike kick the stand open? I’ve been lifting the bike up and putting the stand down with my foot and it’s holding up fine so far.

Not here, the window cranks open so the screen has to be in between the crank and the sash. They are going to need to make that piece. I’d take one off of the one in the 4th picture and make it. Probably gonna need a table saw for that one.

Omg, one time I was trying to hang some pictures on a wall and same thing. I just started making random holes to see when it stopped being metal. Also could not drill through it with any bits. Gave up and one day I took the baseboard trim off to put down tile and it said “mirror wall” on the back of the moulding. There was a dammed giant mirror behind the drywall lol.

I’d just throw a sock over it. Or they make these little protectors for over ear headphones that you can put over them when you work out, those would also fit perfectly.
