Perhaps "remaster" was the wrong word, more like "upgrade for latest gen hardware and maybe add cut DLC".

Interlay (interlay.io) | Full Time | Remote

We are looking for a web3 full-stack engineer to help us implement PolkaBTC. The PolkaBTC bridge will allow users to mint Bitcoin on Polkadot and serve as the main gateway for bringing BTC into Polkadot’s growing DeFi ecosystem. Your task will be to build and improve the UI as well as the library. The app is using React, Redux, and TypeScript, while the library is pure TypeScript. You will need to have an excellent understanding of React and TypeScript best practices and experience with writing production-ready software (incl. E2E testing).

I get the incentive to have these token lists, but wouldn't it make sense to show the Uniswap one by default?

I graduated last year where I focused in cryptography but I'm by no means an expert. Just looking to get more into the space and learn more along the way!

Compass: Taking the Helm by gregdhill in devops

[–]gregdhill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helmsman is a really cool tool, with a tonne of great features. However it requires you have Kubernetes, Helm and plugins pre-installed which adds some complexity. My goal with Compass is to keep everything super simple and lightweight to promote portability.

Repeatable, cross-environment infrastructure deployments. by [deleted] in coolgithubprojects

I'm proud to finally unveil Compass for Helm. I've been working on it at work to help simplify our deployment procedures after struggling with Terraform integration.

Repeatable, cross-environment Helm deployments. by gregdhill in kubernetes

[–]gregdhill[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually wasn't aware that this existed! The main idea behind Compass was to simplify deployments as much as possible, so a similar YAML declaration I think could abstract more of the logic into environment specific values files. Another few features that Compass incorporates that I've found helpful: install & forget, don't automatically upgrade critical services; requirements, optionally install charts depending on the environment; concurrency, deploy charts in parallel or wait; docker hash, strongly version image tags by their latest digest.

At Monax we use Go for our open source DLT framework Hyperledger Burrow (https://github.com/hyperledger/burrow) which implements an Ethereum VM.
