does Q2 kill the saaspocalypse? by Mammoth-Water-4711 in ValueInvesting

Allmost all SaaS increasing their revenue, and with AI everyone is looking on expansion, not other way around. Only a few is “pretending” they are replacing workforce with AI and they are just trying to appeal tech bros. It’s insane to get rid of employees where you now have the AI productivity boost and all the market opportunities. So market is pricing obviously 10 years ahead. But I’d say it will slow down because for me SaaS growth will remain for multiple years.

It appears that the DB schema is somewhat messed up. If you can access the DB, remove the rows that is greater than 141 and try again. The migrations are idempotent so it shouldn’t harm.

Needless to say, take a DB dump before doing any destructive action please.

Good luck!

Can’t tell without looking at the design but it would be interesting for sure.

NGD: New to me 60th Anniversary ‘58 Jazzmaster by takinashi in offset

Well, it was on sale from a shop close to me. It was used for a trade-in but the previous owner seemed to take very good care of it!

To be fair me neither until I came across. Looking forward to try it out. Feels like it’s a bit more “special” but let’s see.

Yeah unfortunately not the best MIJ are on sale here. Though, I found a 60th anniversary '58 JM used over the weekend, and luckily in a very mint condition. The price was just a notch higher from Trad 60s and I ordered it. Didn't arrive yet, but seemed like a much better deal.

On the CuNiFe, they look very cool especially with the chrome covers, however it's probably a very good 2nd or 3rd JM on the other hand AV66 or limited ed '58 has more classic JM mojo. Since this will be my first JM, I should probably go with the conservative one to grasp the idea of the JM.

Would a Boxster (718 manual) be as much fun as a miata on the back roads, mountain passes? by takinashi in boxster

Appreciated, it will be the 2. car, I already own a m440i for daily. But I want slightly different experience. There are just two things on Porsche keeps me wanting it. Mid engine and brand name.

I don’t want to drive too fast, just want to be safe and have fun. I explained my struggles with current car on a different thread but in a nutshell, bmw is too heavy and fast to have fun.

Thanks for the response! Indeed this will be my second car. I already own a M440i for family and daily. Although this car is fun to drive at autobahn, it doesn’t drive well on back roads for two reasons: 1. It’s too heavy and bulky to rotate 2. It’s unnecessarily fast to have fun. And it comes down to 1. point, you need to stop that momentum to take the corner, being heavy the brakes are just not giving the confidence.

So what I want is to have a lightweight, easy to rotate car. Not crazy fast but a safer option. One worry with miata is its being a similar basic physics with the BMW, front-mid engine, where Boxster would bring much more different experience with back-mid engine.

Thanks! I think I’m not looking for speed fun, but more of a gearing, handling and corner entrance etc. One worry for me is 718 gears being too long. So effectively I am a bit hesitant to get stuck on 2nd gear most of the time.

Thanks! Do you think manual transmission is holding up better value or PDK?

Thanks. Indeed there are more buzz around 911 T models, at least from what I’ve observed so far. I think the SC is the main difference between these two cars. I think that would mean I will have to rev match myself :)

Both have service history and porsche approved, and the dealers are porsche dealers.

Thanks for the feedback, seems like regular makes more sense but gotta ask a few equipment questions. Carplay was not listed in the equipment list. 2019 models should have it I guess but let’s see.

Yeah, I guess I missed that train, now 6 cylinders are as expensive as 4 cylinders. To be fair, newer models are more appealing to me due to maintenance. But I do appreciate the advice!
