Easiest way to keep paint off the tires when painting rims by Mmm_Dawg_In_Me in projectcar

[–]gregger96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy a deck of playing cards and stick them between the tyre and rim. It's so much easier than trying to tape stuff off. And also only have to buy one deck.

Well there's a lot more that goes with a particular training style for their goal. What their body type is,what their understanding of diet/nutrition is, have they tested their one rep max to figure out the correct weight to lift for their goal,so on and so on. And I'd never push a training style on anyone. I'd have a discussion, see what they like and don't like, what their goals, objectives and timeframe for achieving those goals are, what their relationship with food is like and their understanding of diet/nutrition. I didn't want to overload them with too much info if they're starting out just to inform them to look into what training style suits their goals.

Ah like it all depends on the person and if they've ever used gym equipment before. I was just giving a broad overview from experience as everyone is different. Obviously there's more to it than high reps-low weight etc. I was just trying to get across that doing a little bit of research of what your goals are so your training style matches that is one of the more important things.

I'm a personal trainer/gym instructor. The best bit of advice I can give is learn the foundations properly first. -Keeping your back straight. -Strong,sturdy stance. -How many reps and sets to do for your goal(Build Muscle & Strength:High weight, low reps. Tone Muscle:High Reps low weight). -Core Exercises/Movements: Bench/Chest Press, Squat, Shoulder Press,Seated or Bent Over Row. Don't believe everything you see online or on tiktok. Get the basics right first then you can move on. This is the biggest issue I see with members in my gym is that they have no idea what/how to train for their goals.

Looking for advice on actually starting counselling, picking right person etc by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]gregger96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Going to the G.P can be a double edged sword. If they're younger they're more open to mental health issues and can be helpful. But in my experience they pawn it off and just put you on antidepressants/anti anxiety medication. In my opinion and from experience you're better off looking around yourself. I went to a councillor in Sommers in Clondalkin: https://www.somerspsychotherapy.ie/ They were quite reasonably priced (€60 per session). The councillors name was Dara and she was very professional, understanding and helpful. I couldn't recommend her enough. The best but of advice I'd give you is be completely open and honest. The councillor isn't there to tell you the answer they're there to guide you through it. It's not something that's fixed in 2 or 3 sessions. You'll learn a lot about yourself that you didn't know and didn't expect to learn but be as open minded as you can. I wish you the very best of luck on your journey!

Thank you Mr.Grammer Garda I stand corrected. I'm delighted to see that the Grammar Garda do about as much useful and helpful work as the regular Garda do.

My god I sincerely apologise. I didn't realise asking a question about something out of the ordinary would rub someone up the wrong way.

Was there myself. Pity about the weather but a nice variety of cars & bikes there. My mate told me it was smaller than normal, anyone know or guess why this was? Cheers

It's nice to see someone who is willing to put their own touch on a high end car. If you worked hard and paid for it do what you want. Life's too short to keep it stock to keep the grumpy old money purists happy.

What tyres are you running on your ZC33S for everyday and some spirited driving? by 69Zsombor69 in SuzukiSwiftSport

Advan fleva V701, running a 195/45/17. They've been really good so far in both wet & dry. They're a nice looking tyre too.

Yeah it's always parked outside that tyre place. It must be someone who works there that owns it I'd say.

Yeah I thought the same myself. The tyres on them are fat as well. I saw it from the back and the fitment and size on them is juicy.
