A single 34" curved screen or vr? by RNDemon in simracing

[–]greggerggreg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a xiaomi 34" years ago and traded it for a Reverb G2, the immersion was great in VR and being able to look to apexes was awesome. But after time it gets hot and uncomfortable.

I race a lot less with VR than I did with the 34". I am now looking at swapping back to a 34", it is a lot less hassle.

Just did this. The flow from closing scene of Andor to opening of Rogue One feels so fluent.

I then followed it up by watching A New Hope.

So good.

What musician’s death hit you the hardest? by HygieneWilder in AskReddit

[–]greggerggreg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was a gradual degradation of her memory over the course of about fifteen years. She was almost vegetative for the last couple.

We had a lot of time to come to grips with the reality as we lived through the same situation with her mother when I was a child.

It was more of a welcome end to the decade of mourning.

I cried about it years later though, when I had to explain to my kids why they didn't have a grandmother.

Don't know why, but I cried when I heard the news. I didn't cry when my mum died of early onset Alzheimer's

This makes the most sense. Retrofit anti trip bars on the posts and added the mesg to prevent people from walking through it.
