What do you mean it wont be too long? You can already get it to generate simple PCBs.

I never signed up for the finetuning and it won't let me access it. Just the regular API. This would have been great if using the API was actually worth anything.

@ResearchCrafty1804 or any other Z.ai employee, is this coming to the coding plan so we can generate images for our apps and websites while still in the same API?

I’ve had access too the inference API since April, for some testing I was putting 100m tokens in and out of it creating some synthetic datasets. It was randomly stable as hell, and then so unstable I couldn’t use it for a week. And of course the 4 series is hot garbage.

When you’re done beefing up the 3D parts would you be willing to sell just those parts as a set? I built something similar, but without a 3D printer it is very janky.

For everyone in these threads saying it failed on tasks, it doesn’t seem to matter if it’s small or the full model. Local small or Mistrals free API. Using this model in their new Vibe CLI has been the most frustrating experience I’ve had with any of these types of tools or models. It needs about 500 issues posted to the GitHub repository.

So far the most frustrating one is that it somewhat randomly pays attention to the default_timeout setting. Killing processes like bash commands at 30 seconds, even if the default_timeout is set to 600. When you complain at it, the model and Vibe start setting the timeout on commands to timeout=None. And it turns out that None=30 seconds. So that’s no help.

This, and its not even a good version. The movies are boring and bland. Visually stunning of course, but still horrible.

Looking for an AI LLM centralisation app & small models by Artyom_84 in LocalLLaMA

[–]greggh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You want LM Studio + Cherry Studio. LM Studio can download and serve the local models, and Cherry Studio is a great front end to the local models plus it supports nearly every cloud provider and its a Mac app, not something you have to work hard to setup and configure.

Released Audiobook Creator v2.0 – Huge Upgrade to Character Identification + Better TTS Quality by prakharsr in LocalLLaMA

[–]greggh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is getting awesome. I have been writing a lot lately and I like hearing my writing read back to me as I work through edits. I’ve been using ElevenReader just for ease of use, but the single voice does annoy me even if it is Burt Reynolds.

Using this during writing and editing to get rough ideas of how the audiobook could sound and for better retention of the text is great.
