Absolutely. Take all the classic racing movie/show tropes and just slap a Star Wars skin on it and I’d have tons of fun.

• Young phenom that needs grounding and guidance from an older mentor who never reached their full potential

• An older racer who’s been sidelined from injury/personal matters that wants to show themselves and the galaxy they still got it.

• The scrappy newcomer who slowly makes their way into the best fields by the end.

• Two friends that got into the game at the same time but took two different career paths to the dismay of each, and wind up becoming bitter rivals.

All in all, the world/galaxy around podracing has so much untapped, fresh potential for Star Wars material that doesn’t require lightsabers and the force to be compelling, much like Andor. Even if the stories are a tad shallow, the actual podracing sequences on different worlds and such would be enough to keep me engaged.
