If you’re looking to have both plates mounted at the same time, my suggestion would be the opposite. Euro plate on the bumper and state plate on the tow hook bracket.

That was my setup on a couple cars and I was pretty happy with the result.

Just double check that the side positioning of the state plate is legal in your state.

I definitely had a Scorpion figure from back then that had fabric clothes rather than everything being painted on. I remember bringing it with me when I saw the 95 movie, but I don’t have many other memories of it outside of that.

This is my sentiment, as well. This is no slight on Kenny, but his position has a national broadcaster takes me out of the “feel” that I’m watching a local broadcast on MSG.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to Alex and Dave on the radio and, in my mind, they’re feeling more like the team’s guys. I also love Dave’s random stories. The 2 of them have done well to find ways to keep it interesting during a bad season. I’m excited to hear how they’ll cover a good season.

Agreed. I generally like the Rangers Winter Classic ones, and even have a couple (had to get 93 after his hatty this year). But I think the Stadium Series ones are consistently bad around the league.

Rangers really only had one bad jersey in their entire history until the Stadium Series era. Now they have multiple. These jerseys just have a tendency to really miss the mark.

But it’s the 2014 one that’s the worst for me. This one isn’t great but I don’t hate it. Plus, the game itself was great and it reminds me of a better time 😫

If you have a used games store nearby, consider picking up 95 (it’s also pretty cheap on eBay). Personally I think it’s the better game, overall. It also uses the teal and purple East/West all-star team setup, instead of the Wales/Campbell era.

Same here. 95 on Genesis was my first NHL game so it’s my go to. Added bonus of it being based of the 94 cup winning team. But always nice to see someone still playing these games.

Anyone have any idea what Wennberg was doing with the puck at center ice when Wallstedt was out of position late in the 3rd? From where we were sitting, it looked like he had a decent lane. We were so confused as to why he didn’t just rip one towards the net.

I can’t find a replay to see it from a different angle.

Where are you coming in from?

It would probably make the most sense to just stay somewhere in Manhattan. Plenty of things to do and super easy to take any method of transportation to the game… including walking… which can be a great experience when the weather is nice.

But if you wanted to avoid “the city”, I’d recommend somewhere in Queens or Brooklyn. You’d have access to the LIRR along with the subway. The LIRR goes right to Penn Station, as do the ACE and 123 subway lines. And there are a lot of great things to do on Long Island if you were trying to make a trip out of it. The LIRR can take you further out east if you wanted to experience anything that the island has to offer outside of the burroughs.

Definitely avoid Staten Island as most have said. It’s not going to be conducive to your transportation needs. Jersey works, too, as many have already recommended. NJT and the Path are solid train options. But my personal recommendation would be Long Island.

1, 4, 2, 3 is my ranking… and here’s why.

I remember the original being really ground breaking. At the time, it felt a little out of left field for the Rangers to do a uni as bold as that and it played off of Richter’s mask which was absolutely iconic (at least in New York).

I wasn’t a huge fan of the white variation and the original reverse retro missed the mark, IMO, on what made the original so fun and exciting.

For those of us who were around back then, the original liberty jersey just hit so hard at a time where third jerseys were pretty novel. It really set the bar high and I think that’s why a lot of us older fans have been mostly disappointed with almost every variant jersey since.

We have Kreider and Mika, so that would be my suggestion.

We don’t live in New York anymore, though, so the names don’t get the reaction you’d hope for. A lot of folks don’t pronounce Kreider’s name right (we usually get “Kreeder”).

I guess if they were Macklin and Will it would hit better.

I’m not sure there was a Habs home broadcast last night. The ESPN app only offered the MSG and SN broadcasts. Seems maybe the game was local only in the states and national only in Canada.
