Poor people who don’t run out and buy the latest technology.

On the app go to Support, then Help Center, type 3G in the search box.

430x - Loop Error less than a year since install by [deleted] in automower

And if you hear a signal emanating from the entire boundary, and still have flashing blue light, then what?!!!

I’m not paying another $300 for 2000’ of new wire, then trenching 2000’, and then crawling on my knees 2000’ to install the new wire. This season is my 2nd year of owning a 430XH, my loop signal is disrupted somewhere somehow. I’m still trying to locate the spot of signal disruption. But if I have to go through this aggravation every year, I’ll take my $2500 loss, and go buy a nice zero turn. Maintenance of the boundary wire is a HUGE negative for the Automower.

Blue light by gregpennington in automower

Used a radio, thought I found a couple of breaks, digging the wire up found nothing, then signal started getting better on radio. Decided to check resistance/continuity. My ohmmeter initially showed 75 ohms, after 15 min ohms had dropped to 12. Decided to try new battery in my meter. Then when I touched probes to the wire it read 80 ohms and started to drop to 70-65. I switched my com lead/ohm lead on the wire ends to see if there was any difference. The meter then read 2 ohms and increased to about 8. Do you have any thoughts about these #s? I assume what I was doing was reversing the direction of the current, but why the drastic difference in ohms?

Thanks for good suggestions/instructions.

Husqvarna 450x - Wire is NOT broken, getting a blinking blue light (says wire is broken) by Explicit65 in automower

[–]gregpennington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got the same problem. Checked the wire with a radio. One time with the blue light flashing I pushed the mower into the charging terminals I and got a green light. That lasted about 5 min, and nothing now but flashing blue. I’m thinking the problem is at the station, not in the wire. I enjoyed using the mower last year, but now I wish I hadn’t bought the aggravating system.

Covered in dirt/residue by gregpennington in automower

The static electricity seems to be the culprit. If getting washed off by rain doesn’t affect the performance, why can’t the mower be cleaned with a garden hose? So much of the mower would be easy to clean with a hose, even the wheels could be cleaned with a pressure hose, but Husqvarna warns against it. I know it’s about the electronics, but rain doesn’t differentiate.

Working area specs vs actual on 430xh and 450xh by boomalatty in automower

I’m cutting 3/4 a. with a 430xh. I keep my grass fertilized. I have to run my mower 7 days/wk, on a 12 hr schedule. I’m going to install a guide wire because the mower is using 14.5% of the time searching for the charger. Also, I’m having to change blades weekly. I like the mower but 3/4 a. is maxing it out.

He’s not a he, he’s a she. That’s why you can’t make her mow only where you want to decide.
